Extra Credit

Read the following article written in 2004 about Arthur and William.
Looking Back at Broken Dreams

Do one or both of the following activities:
  • Write a short summary about what has happened to them in the 10 years since they finished filming Hoop Dreams. Turn this in to us (do not post the summary below). The summary is worth up to 7 points extra credit.
  • Post a comment below about what we can learn from the story of William and Arthur. What does their story teach us about ourselves or our world? This post will be worth up to 5 points.
